Timstrok began with a student looking for a work-study placement and with companies that could not find the people they needed.
When I looked for my work-study placement, only half of my class ended up finding a company. The one that took me on said they were struggling to recruit as well.
Around then I discovered BlaBlaCar, and its user experience stayed with me. I wanted something as simple for recruitment: a place where candidates and companies meet on what matters, in any trade and for any type of contract.
Offers and profiles are real, and nobody promises more than they can give.
Candidates are judged on what they can do. Their name, photo and age stay hidden until both sides say yes.
We read every request and improve Timstrok with the people who use it, release after release.
It compares skills, experience and preferences using known rules. There is no generative AI behind it, so every match can be explained.
Candidates never pay. Companies pay one price per account.
Keyboard use, screen readers, contrast and motion settings are checked in every release. Our accessibility statement says where we stand today.
Timstrok is built in Europe, and its data is stored in the European Union.
